North American P-51D-10-NA Mustang,"OLD CROW", Aluminum 1/4 Scale
9-29-2002 UPDATE: Have added photos of the wings under construction. Of interest to modelers is the details in the wheel wells showing the hydraulics, structure, linkages etc. Added the newly painted Vertical Stabilizer which was graciously signed by Col. Anderson 8-28-2002.
8-30-2002 UPDATE: Continuing on the wings. Currently machining the main landing gear support pivot castings. The wings are 90 % complete and will be completed once the gear are inserted in the castings. Target to complete the wings through painting is Nov 1st 2002. The new horizontal stabilizer ( since the original was destroyed by the U.S. Postal service following Mr. Anderson signing it) will be completed mid October.
